Episode 4 "Time To Face The Music" Recap
This episode aired on 1/22 and we were all anxiously waiting for it after the 1 hour premier episode that covered episode 1,2 and 3. Just to recap episode 4:
Ben's Dad who is Griffins Grandfather, arrived to Sulfur Springs and Ben did not seem excited about it. Ben's dad tell him they should not be in Sulphur Springs which Griffin finds very strange. The Twins are looking for a camera in the basement to record the ghost of savannah and get surprised by Harper and then Griffin, who worry that the twins will find the bunker. They do nothing about it and decide to go back in time.
Once through the bunker in the past, Harper and Griffin find Jess and Savannah arguing. Griffin and Harper decide to go their separate ways to try and find out more information. Griffin then finds Ben (his dad) playing the guitar and after talking some, finds out he likes Savannah. While Griffin is talking to Ben, Harper decided to go talk to Jess (her mom in the past). Jess admits she does not like Savannah because she is so fake and doesn't understand why Ben doesn't see it. Jess says "this place would be a lot better if she (Savannah) would just go away...yikes. Ben has plans to play in the talent show and griffin helps him write a song. Griffin and Harper then walk together to get back to the present time and get into an argument because Harper blames Griffin of not taking what they are tying to figure out seriously.
Back in the present world, Griffin arrives to his family waiting for him to have dinner and Ben and his father get into a discussion about the whole family moving back to Chicago. During dinner the twins mention to their grandfather about wanting to record Savannah's ghost and their Grandfather seems surprised to hear it.
Harper at home talks to her mom and asks why boys are so immature, referring to her fight with Griffin. Her mom answers that "boys can make you feel like you're crazy, specially if you have a crush on them" Harper asks about her moms (jess) first crush and she says it ended like all crushes do "someone getting crushed". Harper assumes she's talking about Ben in the past.
Griffin talks to his grandpa about why he's so upset his dad is back in Sulphur Springs and he says that Sulphur Springs is full of bad memories and doesn't elaborate regarding what memories.
Both Griffins and Harpers moms decided both Harper and Griffin are bad influence on each other and that they should keep them apart. Back in school Harper and Griffin make up and decide to skip school and head over to the past.
They arrive to the past during the talent show right in time to see Ben perform. Ben decided to perform the song Griffin helped him write. Bens father is present and gets very upset Ben did not play the song they had agreed on and Ben walks off of the stage. They also get to see Savannah perform. To everyones surprise Ben ends up winning making them think someone rigged the talent show and by someone they think it was Jess.
Griffin sees his dad and his grandfather talking when his grandfather tells his dad that "all he has done is for his benefit".
Harper has a talk while helping her mom make dinner and they talk about keeping away from mean girls because things "Starts off as a game and they can become very real". This makes Harper call Griffin and she admits to him that her mom (Jess) in the past might of done something to Savannah.
Harper and Griffin get caught by their parents about ditching school and get grounded.
Back in the past, Savannah tells Ben and Jess she is thinking about skipping the dance but Jess tells her she cant because it will be a "night to remember".

Series Synopsis
Set in the fictional Louisiana town of Sulphur Springs, the series follows 12-year-old Griffin Campbell (Preston Oliver, "Chicago Fire") whose world has been upended by his father, Ben (Josh Braaten, "American Horror Story"). Ben has moved the family from Chicago to take ownership of an abandoned hotel property, The Tremont. The Campbell family, which also includes Griffin's mother, Sarah (Kelly Frye, "Criminal Minds"), and his younger twin siblings, Wyatt (Landon Gordon, "Coop & Cami Ask the World") and Zoey (Madeleine McGraw, "Outcast"), moves into The Tremont in hopes of restoring it to the lively vacation destination it once was. On his first day at his new school, Griffin hears rumors that the hotel is haunted by the ghost of Savannah (Elle Graham, "Swamp Thing"), a girl who disappeared decades ago. He soon meets and befriends Harper (Kyliegh Curran, "Doctor Sleep"), a thrill-seeking classmate, and soon they discover a secret portal that allows them to travel back in time and uncover clues about the town mystery.
