How To Buy Discounted Disneyland Tickets For Southern California 2022

If you live in SoCal and are in need of Disneyland tickets, you're in luck because I can help! I'm going to share with you the new and secure way to purchase Disneyland Tickets for less, while also saving time, and even making it easy to purchase them as a gift. You can easily select your ticket and pay in store! I'll show you exactly what store to visit, where in the store you can find them and I'll walk you through the whole process from beginning to end.
Where To Find Disneyland Resort Tickets For Less
You can find them at Superior Grocers! Yes, Im talking about the Grocery store. This one pictured down below.

At my local Superior Grocers, I found them right in front of the store by the gift card rack in front of the registers. You can't miss it.

Now, I know you have all seen the Disneyland Gift card but that is NOT what we are looking for this time. You are looking for these! They are called the "Disneyland Ready, Set, SCAN! cards. They will have a Disneyland mini sign by the card. My local Superior Grocers had the signage in spanish but not to worry. The only thing in spanish is the card, everything else is in english Giftcards.com
Ok, you went to the store, you found the cards, now you're asking "now what". It's all very easy. Let me break it down to you step by step down below.
How To Buy Disneyland Resort Tickets at Superior Grocers
1. Scan the code
First thing you do is grab your phone, open your camera and scan the QR Code found behind the card.

Once the QR code connects, you’ll be directed to a website owned and operated by Blackhawk Network. This is where you can purchase Disneyland Resort tickets and check the park availability calendar. I understand some might be hesitant to purchase through a 3rd party website but trust me when I tell you, I purchased tickets myself through this website as a gift and there was no funny business.
When you first enter the website, you’ll be asked to confirm your location and it will look exactly like the picture down below. By sharing your location you will receive all the pertinent tickets available including special ticket offers. You can opt out of this and still make a purchase but special ticket offers will not be listed and who wants to do that!

Once you decide to share your location, you will be taken to the next section which will show you the park availability calendar as well as the option to head straight to buying tickets. Before you do either I suggest you do the following.
Important Information. This purple colored section right above the park availability calendar, details what you need to know before visiting Disneyland Resort, including the latest information regarding face coverings.
Park Availability Calendar. To get into the Disneyland Resort theme parks, you need a reservation. The park calendar is informational only. You can use it to check park open dates but is not a guarantee. When you purchase and receive your digital tickets, you will be provided with a link to make your park reservation. You will need the barcode numbers from the e-ticket to complete the Park Reservation process.

You've read the important information and looked at the calendar and now you are ready to buy tickets.
2. Select Disneyland Resort Tickets
Now is the fun part! Select what type of ticket you'd like to purchase. You will get a consumer disclosure before seeing the screen below that talks about the need to make a park reservation prior to attending again. If you understand that as discussed above, simply close the pop up.
If you shared your location you will see the special ticket offers on this screen.

You can then choose special ticket offers and see what is available for you. As well as look through all the options and see what fits your schedule best.
Remember, if you are a SoCal resident, special ticket offers will save you money on ticket admission.
You'll then select ticket preference and the number of tickets you'd like to purchase and press the "show me my barcode" button. Keep in mind, you are only allowed to buy a maximum of 6 tickets.

3. Show barcode
You've selected the tickets you want, and pressed the "show me my barcode" button and now your screen should look like this.

On this screen you will be asked to enter the email address that you want the tickets sent to. Once you enter and confirm the correct email address, the barcode for the tickets will be displayed on the screen and look like the picture down below.

You are automatically given 30 minutes to take the barcode to the cashier and complete the transaction. However, if the 30 minutes expire, you can hit the “refresh icon” and a brand new barcode will generate for you. You will not need to enter an email again as it will be already saved for you.
4. Buy Disneyland Resort Tickets
Now all you do is walk over to the cash register before the 30 minutes expire, have the cashier scan your phone and make your payment.
5. Check your email
Now that the barcode has been scanned and you've paid you will get a receipt which will be your proof of purchase. Simply wait to receive an email that will look like this.

You'll open the email to find a "view gift card button" down below. It will take you to a page like this. This is your ticket!!! HOWEVER you still need to make an online reservation. Follow the first green link which will take you to the Disney app. VERY IMPORTANT, you need to create an account and link your ticket to your existing or newly created account.
If you purchased this ticket as a gift, you can simply forward this email to the person you are gifting it to and allow them to do the remainder of the steps. You now have the title of best gift giver and are done.

Make Online Reservations
•You've downloaded the Disneyland app, you've got your tickets sitting in your email, now what? You are going to head to park reservations area in the Disneyland app.

•Choose the Book Theme Park Reservation button

•Now here is the important part. You need to make sure to link your ticket received online here on the app.

•You'll simply add the ID number on the space provided. You'll find that ID number on the ticket emailed to you.

•Choose they day you'd like to go that is available. Imp: this is not an accurate representation of the days available

•Confirm what park you would like to go to

•Accept the term and conditions

And Finally, you will receive a theme park reservation confirmation on the app and through email and you are set! REMEMBER, you NEED to book every day you would like to attend individually so make sure if you purchased the 3 day pass to book those 2 additional days as well. Don't wait because once reservations are full theres no guarantee reservations will be available again, so don't wait.
Now you are ready to head over to Disneyland on your booked date. Make sure you bring proof that you are a Southern California resident when you purchased the "Special Ticket Offer" and bring a phone where you are able to log on to the Disneyland app to have them scan the linked ticket to allow you admission.
