Irvine Park Railroad: Modified Pumpkin Patch To Keep The Fall Tradition Alive
Updated: Mar 16, 2022

If you’ve been following along for a while now you know that every year even before Alexia was 1 we have been coming to The Irvine Park Railroad's Pumpkin Patch and taking a picture in the same spot. You can imagine how happy I was when I realized we would NOT have to break our yearly tradition and you don't have to either. Let me show you what it's like this year and point out some of the changes.

Although some things are different this year, we were still able to enjoy cute photo ops, their train ride, wagon ride, carnival games, pick out a pumpkin and purchase their delicious bread. We all had a great time!
Event is open now through October 31st 2020
Hours of operations Weekdays 10am-5pm, Weekends 9am-6pm
Entrance is free but rides and carnival games do require tickets. Tickets to be purchased on site
Parking fee per car $3 on weekdays $5 on weekends
I wanted to share with you a couple things that are different this year.
When the Pumpkin Patch reaches capacity, as one family/group exits, another family/group will be allowed to enter, so make sure and arrive early or go during the week. We went on opening day and were there as soon as they opened.
To purchase a pumpkin you will be able to look at them from behind the counter and have a staff member give it to you, you will not be able to walk around and pick out a pumpkin like in previous years.
Mask must be worn but we removed only for pictures
Every game and ride is disinfected right after each use for our safety. Isn't this fantastic!
There are no jumpers, cookie decorating, or face painting this year.

Do we recommend you visit? Absolutely! It was a fun visit and we finished everything like in an hour. While you are there you can also enjoy a pony ride, a bike ride around the park or even their zoo. We are so thankful Irvine Park Railroad hosted this modified event and we were able to keep our Fall traditions alive.
