We love exploring local and far and are so fortunate to have found a hidden gem in the Los Angeles area perfectly suited for a family getaway or couples staycation. Luxe Sunset Boulevard is a beautiful, serene, and perfectly located hotel that has met and exceeded all our expectations during our visit as a family in 2021 and just recently for a romantic couples staycation (2022). Whether you are local or traveling from afar, I want to share with you why we found Luxe Sunset Boulevard to be the perfect Boutique Hotel for all our getaway needs.
Prime Location
Location, location, location! This beautiful hotel is situated at the crossroads of Brentwood and Bel-Air. It's surrounded by beautiful lush greenery with exceptional and tranquil decor. It's a quiet and tranquil oasis that makes it ideal for a staycation, yet provides easy access to popular local attractions like the Paul Getty Museum, Getty Villa, or even take a quick drive to the ever so popular Rodeo Drive. Rather not drive and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer? They offer great activities that I'll mention down below.
Service and Amenities
A Hotel can have all the amenities in the world but if the service is not great rest assured we would not visit again. Happy to report we will definitely be visiting Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel again because their service and attention to detail from the moment we arrived was exceptional on both visits. Everyone was very friendly, from the person at the check in desk to the waiter at the restaurant. Everyone had a smile on their face and were genuinely happy to answer our questions. On our first visit my 8 years old daughter even mentioned how everyone was so nice from the moment we arrived. Kids can be very oblivious to these sort of things, so the fact that she noticed definitely says something. Not only were we impressed with their friendliness and service but they had lots of fun and unique hotel amenities like:
Outdoor heated pool
At no additional cost rent their Luxe Signature Bikes to explore the neighborhood (only adult bikes available. If bringing kids bring their own bike for a family ride)
Monthly Drive-In movie nights
Full bar
Bonfire at sunset
Tennis courts
Outdoor gym and classes
Beautiful Rooms
The room designs are perfect! Bright, airy, and very spacious with beautiful decor that ties beautifully with their lush green outdoor set up and their tranquil atmosphere. Aside from being a beautiful and clean room they have all the amenities we have needed like: a coffee machine (coffee and tea provided), complimentary Wi-Fi, Flat-screen TV, on demand movies, Luxe signature bathrobes, bath amenities, hairdryer, iron and in room safe.
The beds have always been comfy with soft sheets and we've had a great nights rest. Not to mention, they have a great little set up right outside the rooms patio door perfect for enjoying an evening drink or that first cup of coffee in the morning.

Cleanliness & Safety
This has always been a very important factor but as of last couple years it's definitely climbed to the top of the list. Our rooms have always ben immaculate, very well taken care of, as was the rest of the property.
Restaurant
An onsite restaurant is always a huge plus specially when it's as good as SIROCCO was. The restaurant highlighting California's abundance of fresh seafood, meat and produce and they do it very well. It's perfectly situated in a beautiful outdoor area with a beautiful wall fountain, and beautiful lights that lights up the outdoor restaurant at night. Nights get chilly but they have several outdoor patio heaters that helped keep us warm. Want to dine indoors, they have an indoor area as well.
If you are choosing Luxe for a couples romantic getaway, an in house restaurant is incredibly convenient. Get drink with your meal without having to worry about driving or having to rush to make it to breakfast the next morning.
On top of the delicious food and beautiful atmosphere the service was also great! Here are pictures of some of the items on the menu we've tried for dinner and breakfast. All highly recommended! Trust me, they are as delicious as they look.
Verdict
Would be have returned for a second year in a row if we did not absolutely love our first stay? Absolutely not. Safe to say there will definitely be a third visit. We highly recommend this hotel next time you are in town to experience all they have to offer. Thank you so much for having us Luxe Sunset Boulevard!
