Must Visit Beach in Laguna Beach, CA
Updated: Mar 16, 2022

I’ve decided that this summer I want to do a lot more of the simple things my family and I enjoy doing like visits to the beach. I want to start exploring different beaches since it’s something we all love doing as a family. If you're a beach lover like myself or simply want to visit a new beach, I want to introduce you to this beach we had a chance to visit and give you some pointers.
Shaw's cove is a cute little cove nestled below homes in Laguna Beach, CA. At both ends of the beach we found tide pools full of water creatures that Alexia loved exploring. Things like crabs, anemones, sea snails and muscles are some of the things we enjoyed finding. However, keep in mind that if the tide is high it is recommended to stay off the further edges of the rocks. To check the tide times follow this link https://www.tide-forecast.com/locations/Laguna-Beach/tides/latest

During our visit we noticed many in snorkeling and scuba diving gear. Per the lifeguard, It's a great place for snorkeling and scuba diving which explained why we saw many arriving in gear ready to do just that. So if this is something you would like to try or enjoy doing, this little cove seems to be a great place for underwater exploration.
If this sounds like a place you would like to visit here are some things to keep in mind before you visit:
Tide pools are best during low tide
There are no restrooms
No public parking is available so arrive early to find parking on street
There are lifeguards on duty...Yay!

Address
1009 Cliff Dr
Laguna Beach, CA 92651
You will find the public stairway entrance on intersection of Fairway Street and Cliff Drive.
Hope you find this helpful and enjoy visiting this cove! If you have had the chance to visit in the past let me know how you liked it in the comments.
Talk to you later!
