Night Of Lights OC- A Wonderful Drive Thru Experience
Updated: Mar 16, 2022
This year, Holiday Drive Thru Experiences have been one of the most popular ways for families, including mine, to celebrate and enjoy holiday lights from the safety comfort of our cars. With so many to choose from and with Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to share with you one more light festival we got to enjoy here in Orange County. Over the weekend we attended Night Of Lights OC in Costa Mesa, CA. With tons of lights, food options and little to no wait, I wanted to share why you should visit before the holiday season is over. We also put together a video to really showcase all the beauty of these holiday lights.
Night Of Lights OC will be running up until January 10th of 2021 so there's still time to visit! We had a Silver Admission ticket which in addition to enjoying all the lights included a digital in-vehicle photo, Christmas 3D glasses and an express entry lane. I would highly recommend this option as the picture taken at the end is a high resolutions picture with great lighting. There was an actual photographer who was set up in front of this beautiful backdrop, we were directed to pull over and she took a couple of pictures. The pictures were emailed to us within 15 minutes of leaving the event and just like that we had a wonderful keepsake of this event.
If you rather not spend the extra bucks for the Silver Admission ticket, don't worry! There are so many beautiful lights, you are bound to get some beautiful pictures yourself. Take a look for yourself!
Aside from all the beautiful lights you can also enjoy seasonal food and beverages during your experience! There's things like Tamales, Sandwiches, Chicken tenders, Prime Rib sandwiches, kids meals, snacks and even dessert! Keep in mind these items must be purchased in advance and you will be directed to pick them up 15 minutes prior to your session time inside the fairgrounds. We personally didn't purchase any food but it's a great option to have and did see many picking up their orders when we got there.
Video Of Experience
As promised here is a video we put together of our experience. With night time festivals, I feel videos are a great way to really capture all the beauty of the lights. Hope you enjoy it!
