Festival Of Holidays is back at Disney California Adventure and we could not wait to start experiencing all the fun. There are lots of great things to look forward to at the park during this season, but the Festive Foods Marketplace is one we absolutely love. We attended opening day and got to taste lots of items on their menu as well as purchased our Sip and Savor Pass. Down below I will be sharing some of our favorite food items and everything you need to know about this Sip and Savor Pass.
What is the Festive Foods Marketplace
It is a festival where you will have the opportunity to enjoy holiday food and beverages from around the world. From savory, to sweet, to specialty cocktails and non alcoholic drinks it's a great opportunity to broaden your palate without having to travel the world. I personally love tasting new foods! If you do too this event is one you cannot miss. You are able to head to any of the participating locations to purchase these specialty holiday food items or you are able to purchase a Sip And Savor Pass which will allow you to sample more food items.
What exactly is the Sip and Savor pass
Each pass comes with 8 tabs that entitles you to 8 different participating food items or non-alcoholic beverages. These are tasting size portions only but is a great and more economical way to sample more foods for your buck. All guest at Disney California Adventure are able to purchase a Sip and Savor pass for $55. You can purchase them at the Food Foods Marketplace Kiosk, Festival Merchandise Carts, Seaside Souvenirs and many other locations. You really cant miss it if you are looking to purchase them. The good news is you don't have to use all tabs on one single day. You have until January 9, 2022 to use them.

Tip: The tabs must be attached to the sip and savor pass prior to ordering. Tab must be torn in front of cast member at time of redeeming for food.
Some Of Our Favorite Food Items and Drinks
From left to right:
Honey Guava Pisco Punch- Pisco (alcohol), guava, spiced honey, syrup, ginger and lime juice. This drink was incredibly refreshing and delicious. It was slightly spicy which I really enjoyed. Will definitely be ordering it again on our upcoming visit.
Hibiscus Ginger Mezcal Mule- Mezcal (alcohol) hibiscus syrup, ginger, lime juice and topo chico (mineral water). My husband enjoyed it, me...not so much but I'm also not a fan of Mezcal so that might be why.
Prickly Pear Tea Lemonade- (non alcoholic) Ceylon black tea cold brew, prickly pear puree and house made lemonade. Very refreshing! it was a popular one with our group.
From left to right:
Esquite Carnitas Mac & Cheese- Sightly spicy with a delicious crunch from the spiced puff rice. It was delicious!
Nashville Hot Turkey Slider- hear me out. This looks boring, I know. It doesn't look anymore impressive in person but it is SO FLAVORFUL. I would 100% get this again. The dill pickle gives it a nice tangy twist and the slider is a little spicy so it compliments it perfectly. Only thing I would change about his is to make it bigger!
Holiday Spiced Wings with citrus cranberries- The wings were good but not memorable. Probably would not get again and make room for other food items.
From left to right:
Holiday stuffing mac and cheese- I definitely enjoyed this mac and cheese but I enjoyed the one above a lot more so if you only want to do one, do the carnitas one.
Chana Masala- Im happy to see they have vegetarian options. I personally didn't have it but my friend who did seemed to enjoy it.
Beef Pot Roast on Potato Roll- The meat was soft and tender and had great flavor. It was a lovely little roll. I would definitely recommend it.
Reuben Potato Bites- Tator tots with Russian dressing and rye toast crumbles...yes please. We really enjoyed this one
Reimagined Beef Brisket Wellington- This was another delicious option. The meat was also tender and flavorful and so pretty.
Important to keep in mind: Food is no longer available one hour before the park closes.
We tried a good amount of item but still have so many more on the list we are dying to try, like the Churro Toffee Cold Brew Latte and the Apple Fritter Bread Pudding at Pacific Wharf Cafe. Im curious to know what has been your favorite of this year so far? For me its the Nashville Hot Turkey Slider for food and the Honey Guava Pisco Punch for drink. Let's see if that changes after I try a few more goodies.
Hope you found this post helpful and helped you decide if the sip and savor pass is for you! If you enjoyed this post please give it a like, leave me a comment, save it or pin it.
