Strawberry Picking season has arrived! Our Favorite Farm Tanaka Farms is famous for their delicious, sweet, and juicy strawberries and we had the best time during our visit along side friends. Strawberry Picking Tour
During our strawberry picking tour we got to ride in an open wagon around the farm where we learned about the farming methods and history of the farm from a friendly tour guide. We got to see how fruits and vegetables grow and we even got to stop and pick a seasonal veggie which during our visit was kale. We all got to pick and bring home a bag full ok kale before the main event.
The wagon then took us to our main event area which was the last stop on our tour...the strawberry patch! During our visit there were tons of red, plump, and juicy strawberries. My daughter could not eat them fast enough! We were able to each pick and eat strawberries right from the fields where they grow. It was such a great experience! From learning all about the strawberries, to picking them, and to of course eating them. We each filled up and were so excited to bring home a one pound basket of strawberries to enjoy.
Other Things To Do At The Farm
Spring time fun was in full effect during our visit and we had to opportunity to enjoy a lot of other things before and after our wagon ride. Things like;

Tips To Make The Most Out Of Your Visit
•Sunny days can feel very warm when out at the field so bring a hat
•Wear sunscreen
•Bring water
•Wear shoes you don't mind getting dirty
•Plan for a lunch at the farm. They have lots of delicious food options
We have been enjoying Tanaka Farms for a few years now and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly, the events are perfectly planned, and the Strawberries are always amazing.
