Tanaka Farms located In Orange County has quickly become one of our favorite farms in SoCal. They have tons of fun events throughout the year but have you had a chance to visit their Pumpkin Patch? Since I can remember, every year they arrive and have stole the show and I have no doubt this year will be just as epic! Im excited to share with you all the fun our family and our friends from the OC Mommy Blogger Tribe had in previous years at Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch and I've updated all the details for this years festivities 2023.
Things to do at the farm
We enjoyed their wagon ride, crafts, yummy food, veggie picking, pumpkin cannon and tons of fun photo opportunities. We got to visit their barnyard animals like donkeys, llamas, piglets, chickens, bunnies, mini horses, sheep and fed goats. During their veggie picking we each got the opportunity to pick our own carrots, onions, radishes and cilantro. Not to mention we got to pick our first pumpkins of the seasons at their huge pumpkin patch. Have you ever picked your own pumpkin right out of the pumpkin patch? Well at Tanaka Farms you can! Walk the field and pick the perfect pumpkin just for you. The hunt for that perfect pumpkin is always our favorite part and they have every color, shape and type of pumpkin.
Weekday activities
Monday - Thursday: Activities include the Wagon Rides, Barnyard Educational Exhibit, U-Pick Veggie Patch, Corn Maze, & U-Pick Pumpkin Fields. All other activities are closed during the week.
Weekend Activities:
Friday, starting at 12pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday: All of the above PLUS
Arts & Crafts, Festival Games, Farmer Golf, and the famous Pumpkin Cannon. Please note additional tickets are needed for additional weekend activities. Prices down below.
Fun Fact: Tanaka Farms is one of the only farms in Orange County with a REAL pumpkin patch!

Admission
Monday thru Friday morning $20 per person
Friday starting at 12pm, and Saturdays & Sundays $22 per person
Children 2 and under are FREE.
Admission can be purchased at the gate!
Included in admission price: unlimited Wagon Rides, Barnyard Educational Exhibit, Corn Maze, and the U-Pick Pumpkin Fields. DOES NOT INCLUDE A PUMPKIN. U-Pick Pumpkins: $1.39 per pound
Activity Tickets available on weekends only
$6 each or 6 for $30 (save $6!) Activity tickets can be used for Games, Arts & Crafts, Mini ATVs, Face Painting, Veggie Patch, shooting the Pumpkin Cannon, or riding the Bee Train. Can be purchased at the gate!
Parking
A $10 parking fee is required only beginning at 12pm on Friday and all day Saturdays and Sundays. Choose the time you wish to ENTER the parking lot. Once parked, you can stay as long as you like. PARKING PASSES CAN ONLY PURCHASED ONLINE!
We love Tanaka Farms and 100% recommend it for a day full of Fall/Halloween fun!
Tips:
Bring comfortable shoes you aren't afraid to get dirty
Bring water
Visit early in the day or later in the evening specially on hot days
Early visit allows you to have the first choice in pumpkins
Food available on weekends only
Porta potties available
