The New Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween Event
Updated: May 11

Do you and your family love fun Halloween/Fall festivities? My little family and I sure do which is why we were so thrilled to learn that Knott's Berry Farm has an all new event we were able to enjoy while staying safe and maintaining social distancing. There's outdoor activities, themed food/treats and even a special Trick-or-Treat Trail Celebration for the little ones. I want to share with you our experience as well as all the safety measures Knott's is taking to maintain a safe environment for all.

Food Experience
The only way to experience the limited time Knott's Taste of Fall-O-Ween is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com (a tasting card is required for event entry). While the theme park does remain closed, this Knott's Berry Farm family-friendly event was amazing. Knott’s pays tribute to the year's spookiest season with a Fall food experience unlike any other. Keep in mind that tasting cards are date specific and will be limited each day to comply with social distancing and may sell out.
Regular tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $35 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings
Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11) are $20 (plus tax) and include three tastings plus a trip through the Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail.
The food and drinks we tasted were yummy and there's still so much more I wanted to taste. My absolute favorite was the Tamale and the sangria, these items are must haves.
Here is a list of all the food items available

From the moment we got to the front of the park we could tell the spirit of Halloween had come to life with with a cornucopia of Harvest and Halloween décor that transformed the park for the season. Every corner had a fun Photo opportunity as well as characters dressed up in spooky family friendly costumes.

Characters were taking pictures from a distance and if they were walking around they were all wearing mask just like all of the Knott's employees.

Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail
Included with a junior tasting card, kiddos have an opportunity to take a trip through the fully themed Camp Snoopy Trick-or-Treat Trail presented by Hershey, loaded with multiple treat stations and special spooky decorations. Adults can walk though the trail but can not collect candy unless a trick or treat bag is purchased for an additional $8.00. You can go through the trail as many times as you'd like but can only collect candy once unless a new bag is purchased. They did such a good job at decorating and we went through it once during the day and again once the sun went down. We even got to see some characters from the peanut gang!

Here are a couple of the pictures we got at night. They really do no justice to how cool they decorated for the kiddos. It was very festive but definitely kiddo friendly.

Safety Measures
I know you are probably wondering what measure Knott's is taking to keep us all safe. On arrival we went through a temperature screening and security checkpoint at the main gate. From the moment we arrived we were very impressed with all their safety measures. I can't even tell you how many times we saw employees cleaning tables right after a guest had gotten up and even frequently touched surfaces. My exact words to my hubby were "They are on it". These are the kind of things Im always looking for nowadays and I was definitely happy to see this going on. Aside from that, there were portable sinks for hand washing throughout the park as well as sanitizers. Seats were spread through out the park to maintain social distancing. And of course all employees as well as guest are required to wear a mask except while sitting at a table or bench to eat/drink.

Dates And Hours
We attended on Saturday and arrived as soon as they opened. I definitely recommend you arrive early. We had the park almost all to ourselves. As they day went on it did get a little busier but not so much that it was a concern for us.

In conclusion, this was a perfect Halloween/Fall festival for the whole family. My daughter's exact words when we got home were "Today Knott's was so different but so fun". Things are different but that doesn't mean they can't be just as fun. Knott's did a wonderful job putting this event together and I really hope you get to enjoy it as much as we did.
