This years camping trip was nothing short of amazing. We visited Huttipia's all new location...Huttopia Wine Country! 2 years ago we experienced the first Huttopia in the West Coast, Huttopia Paradise Springs and had a fantastic time. When we heard Huttopia Wine Country was opening this summer, we knew we had to experience it! Huttopia Wine Country is a beautiful outdoor glamping resort located in a 4,300-acre ranch and winery which makes it a unique and fun experience. There's something for everyone to enjoy! We experienced the thrill and adventure of camping with comfortable ready-to-camp accommodations. If you're looking for the perfect glamping location in Northern California, this is definitely it. I'm excited to share our experience during our stay in the all NEW Huttopia Wine Country.
Lodging While Glamping In Wine Country
Huttopia's comfortable ready to camp accommodations are the best. Their signature tents have been carefully placed in harmony with nature. Included in the tents are comfortable beds, electricity, lanterns, private shower/restroom with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, kitchen pots, pans, cutlery and dish soap, grill, bear proof cooler and free ice packs you can pick up and exchange for new ones as needed. Our tent had 2 bedrooms with the possibility to sleep 5! One with a queen bed and another with full and twin bunkbeds. Rooms are separated for privacy which is nice and theres a fan inside for warmer days. There's a small sitting area inside the tent as well as a patio with a dinning table, chairs, sofa, grill and sink. Perfect to sit out with a glass of wine while looking at the star filled sky. It's so convenient to have everything you need while camping, without having to pack your whole house. The tent was clean and the beds were very comfy. We got amazing rest falling asleep to the sound of nature.
Activities
Huttopia Wine Country is set in a large acre perfect to enjoy nature and star gaze. However, they have tons of other activities for the whole family to enjoy. They have a designated area for parking so the kiddos are free to run around and explore the camp area.
Pool
Their pool is perfect to cool off on a warm sunny day. We enjoyed playing in the pool and lounging around in the pool chairs under the umbrellas. The pool goes from 3 to 4 1/2 feet deep.
Community Games
There's no need to pack any games because Huttopia has us covered. They had outdoor games like Cornhole, Ping Pong, soccer ball, hula hoops and more! Inside the recreation area they had board games like monopoly, checkers and many more. They are available for all to enjoy anytime of the day. We had lots of fun playing as a family and really enjoyed our time together.
Weekend Activities
On the weekends they offer different activities like movie night. Activities may vary so check with the staff on arrival for details.
Trails
There are several trails right on the property. On arrival you will receive a map with details.
Playground
Theres a playground right next to the pool for kiddos of all ages to enjoy. They have swings, a climbing wall and even some slides. The kiddos really enjoyed this perk!
Wine Tasting
We headed down the winery, 1 mile down the road from Huttopia's communal area to enjoy some wine tasting. Huttopia Wine Country is located inside the 4,300-acre Six Sigma Ranch and Winery, so visiting the winery and grounds is a must.
The tasting fee is $15 per person however, at check in Huttopia provides its guest with a buy one tasting and receive a complimentary tasting coupon.
Plus right around the winery we also enjoyed some farm animals and we even walked around an empty barnyard for some exploring.
Winery is open for tastings daily from 11:00am to 4:30 pm. You'll also find cheeses and meats you can purchase to enjoy while Glamping at Huttopia.
Services
Full Cafe/bistro
Cafe/bistro coming soon. Time is undetermined at the time (July 2023). Complimentary coffee, spa water and tea available throughout the day.
Camp store
If you plan to grill during your stay there's always the risk of forgetting a condiment or two but luckily Huttopia has a camp store for those last minute items we sometimes might forget. They also have branded hats, shirts and sweaters as souviniers.
The kiddos loved cooling off with the ice cream popsicles for sale.
WIFI
There is free WIFI within the community area and it did reach all the way to our tents and pool area.
Other Things To Know
15 minutes before arriving to Huttopia we stopped at Hardester's Market for groceries. It's a full grocery store with a great deli, cheese options and everything you could possibly need for an amazing BBQ.
